“I really like the sound of the Vintage 20 ring I have recently installed in my 1990 RB-250. This banjo has had quite a few rings in it over the years (serving as kind of test lab) and of all the ones I've tried so far, I have to say that the Vintage 20 has produced the best sound.” -Peter Schwimmer

This is the raw, copper-flashed and polished, but unplated version of the K-10 centrifugally spun tone ring which was released by Richard Kulesh Sr. in 1993, and quickly gained a reputation as the best tone ring available on the aftermarket. All these years after it’s introduction, numerous attempts have been made to imitate it’s features. Although imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, the competitors to the K-10 have a long way to go before they are able to match the precision, power, projection, clarity and playability of the Kulesh 10-hole tone ring.
This version of the 10 Hole is recommended for those wishing to add engraving and/or their own plating to the tone ring.

“Powerful & clean, centrifugally (spun) cast; created by an expert in banjo tone, Richard Kulesh, this tonering is among the most powerful and responsive tonerings available today. Tonal clarity all the way up the fingerboard. You will hear the difference immediately.” - Janet Davis
